Heart puzzle

I had a pleasure and honor to be best man on wedding for two of my friends (two different weddings :)). Earlier this year I made jigsaw-puzzled heart as wedding anniversary gift for one of them. As the gift was well received I decided to do similar for my second friend. As this was a second attempt I modified the design a bit. This time I combined two different kinds of timber what allowed to built-in a cross into the heart.The work started from a raw pieces of birch. I forgot to take a pictures at all stages, so they show only half way and at final shape. Transfer of print on wood was difficult this so it may not be as clear as I hopped for, especially on the darker wood.
